Bad B*tch Readathon

I love a catchy readathon name; well Neka give us one-- The Bad Bitch Readathon!!!!

Since, I suck at TBRs, I figured I would do my post as a wrap-up. Here are my recommendations for the Bad Bitch Readathon...

Bad Bitch - Read a book where the MC is an overall bad bitch. They love themselves wholly and will do everything in their power to protect those that they love. 

• My recommendation: Grand Theft N.Y.E. by Katrina Jackson 
• Reason: If you're not careful Cleo will steal your watch while you're sleeping. Not only is she funny, sexy, she knows how to make Mr. Shimizu go crazy!!!

Frosty Bitch - Read a book where the MC is cold as ice and prickly as a cactus in the beginning. They ONLY care about themselves, and that's on a good day. Eventually they come around though. 

• My recommendation- Ties that Tether by Jane Igharo (release date 9/29/20) 
• Reason: Azere is focused on her career, family, and finding a Nigerian partner until she mets Rafael which complicates her plans. She tries to shut it down by ignoring him. Let's just say he's persistent. 

Silly Bitch - Read a book about an MC who seems to stumble through their life. They have all the power and no clue how to use it. They take all the wrong turns until they finally get it together. 

• My recommendation- You Had Me at Hola by Alexis Daria
• Reason: Jasmine's life is in a bit of a downward spiral and her first table read for Carmen-in-Charge is downright funny. 

Thirsty Bitch - We are sex positive here so read a book where the MC owns every ounce of their sexuality. They are having good sex, consensually and safely with their partner (or partners). 

• My recommendation: Tikka a Chance on Me by Suleikha Snyder
• Reason: Pinky is home from college starting over and has her eyes on bad boy/biker gang Trucker. They may or may not have had several trysts in compromising locations which could create gossip in their hometown but they both threw caution to the wind to get it in.
